Study and development of all-optical regenerators (Pythagoras I, 2004-2007)

The PYTHAGORAS project is a part of the Operational Programme for Education and Initial Vocational Training (O.P. "Education") one of the Third Community Support Framework's 24 Operational Programmes (2000-2006) in Greece, and is co-financed by the European Social Fund, the European Regional Development Fund and national resources. Within the framework of this project, our group proposed new all-optical reshaping devices based on nonlinear effects in highly nonlinear fibers.
